Delilah Rothenberg
Bpeace Board director since 2009, Board secretary
Founding Principal, Development Capital Strategies, LLC

"Business Council for Peace is a lean and nimble organization that leads by example. Bpeace stands out: We maximize resources at its disposal to empower those with less access to help themselves and their communities. Bpeace also operates in the under served SME space, an area which has the greatest potential to fuel economic development. Members are good listeners, and rely on input from our Associates. Operationally and administratively, Bpeace maintains minimum bureaucracy, so costs are low and politics do not get in the way of the important work."

Prior to founding Development Capital Strategies (DCS), Delilah worked with Bear, Stearns & Co in Institutional Equities. Prior to Bear, Delilah developed educational programs with industry executives for investors at Gerson Lehrman Group.

She also has experience with emerging markets private equity, having worked with Zephyr Management. She is also an active member of Angel Africa, 85 Broads, and Seeds of Peace.

Delilah has a B.A. in History, Politics, and Africa Studies from NYU, where she received the Dean's Award in Politics, served as Co-President of Pi Sigma Alpha, worked with Senator Hillary Clinton, and studied Swahili. She holds the Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Delilah's work has been featured in The New York Times, on CNN, and NPR, among others.
